Brian J. Liu
Brian Liu holds a Master of Music in Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music and a Bachelor of Science in Music Performance from Southern Adventist University.  He currently is pursuing a Doctorate of Musical Arts at the Catholic University of America.  He has performed with orchestras throughout the eastern United States including the Huntsville Symphony, Binghamton Philharmonic, Augusta Symphony, Chattanooga Symphony, the Hilton Head Orchestra, the Cayuga Chamber Orchestra, and the Skaneateles Festival orchestra.  As soloist, he has appeared with the East Tennessee Symphony Orchestra, SAU Symphony Orchestra, and the Collegedale Academy Chamber Orchestra.  He has given solo recitals throughout the United States.  Also an active chamber musician, he has performed with the Cadek Chamber Orchestra, the SAU string quartet, Quartteto Scurro, the Finger Lakes Quartet, and many other groups throughout the eastern United States.
 
Mr. Liu has studied with Mikhail Kopelman, Charles Castleman, Jody Gatwood, Christian Teal, Yehonatan Berick, and Mark Reneau.  Chamber music coachings include studies with Dr. James Stroud, Eugene Becker, Stephen Prutsman, Wu Han, Jean Barr, and members of the St. Lawrence String Quartet.
 
Liu has served as adjunct professor in the Department of Fine Arts at Augusta State University and at Keuka College.  He continues to perform throughout the United States.
